The Face
Determined, the Amazon’s face embodies the pride and resolve of the female warriors of Danxomè. A timeless expression that spans the centuries and continues to inspire the whole of Benin.
The armour
True to the battle attire of the Agodjié warriors, the statue’s armour reflects the rigour and discipline that characterised these elite soldiers in the service of the King of Danxomè.
