The Esplanade de l'Amazone is situated in the heart of Cotonou, on Boulevard de la Marina, a stone’s throw from the Palais des Congrès. The monumental statue overlooking it serves as a landmark visible from several of the city’s main thoroughfares.

The esplanade is open to the public seven days a week, with no time restrictions. Whether you’re out for a family stroll, a moment of reflection, or simply to see the statue, the site welcomes you at any time of the day or night.
Parking
Parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the esplanade and can be used at any time, including at weekends and on public holidays.
